Not collage, but forcing yourself to see two sources together. Is it a jump cut, a collision, between two voices or places. A breach of conventional meaning and narrative. A blunt force collage. We're over saturated with images. Scrolling, scrolling, but stomp the brakes. Two images together, neither one or the other. Where does that go? Where do you go? These are some of the orchestrations I'm working on for an upcoming art show.
